Summer Camps
Our Summer Youth camp is taking a new exciting turn. In the past we have grouped everyone together for large group instruction and an emphasis on fun, competition and fundamental skills with some basic game play.
This year we are offering two different sessions to better reach each target audience. From 10am – 1 pm, we will be working with 8-12 year old's with little or no experience with the hopes growing a love for the game. We will instruct basic passing, setting, serving and hitting. We will play live volleyball and we will lower nets, use appropriate lighter weight volleyballs, and make it all about fun and how the flow of the sport works.
Our Second session will run from 2pm – 5pm and will be for 11-14 year old's that have middle school, feeder, club, travel, or other experience that will allow us to “improve” basic fundamentals and “improve” game IQ and flow. This will allow us to put a greater emphasis on learning strategy and game play through faster paced drills will still including the fun aspect.
If you have any questions about where your child/camper fits, please do not hesitate to contact us and ask questions. Both camps will include a T-shirt as well as having basic concessions available during breaks.
